Where goes the smile!

At times, my attempts to look funny in pictures turned out to be quite scary.

Instead of looking funny, I look rather grim.

Hmmph.

Here, three of the hundreds of pieces of evidences available; laid down for scrutiny.

.
.
.

Dangggg!

.
.
.

See? See? Scary or not?
Bet you just jumped off your chair!

.
.
.

Gahhhh!!

But I guess these pictures are cool afterall.

:)

Happy Halloween!!
Wheeeeee!

Something funny

Liverpool is currently on top of the English Premier League,
something that does not happen a lot in the recent years I tell you.
LOL.

They also recently beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Quite an achievement I suppose.

But I still loathe them and it will only be a matter of time before they drop points!
Take that, Benitez!

Found this on the Internet. Again, pure genius.

Aww, 25 darned years!

Details in the fabric.

Do you like Jason Mraz?

And do you like James Morrison?

I love them both, I can play their respective albums on my radio all night long.

Now.

What if we put Jason Mraz and James Morrison together?

What do we get?

WE GET AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SONG!

The song is "Details in the Fabric".

It is such a refined song with such lovely lyrics that reassure us that everything will, indeed, be fine.
Something to pull us back to the top and see the rainbow when all we see is well, nothing.

It is a song that will be there for us during the hard times, the kind that heals our souls. The kind we all need more of.

:)

I miss you

Dear Mr. Exercise,

I miss you, my love.
I miss all the dates we had. Everyday without fail.
And I miss how much I yearn to see you.

And you naughty, you always made me perspire like mad ;)

It is good to have you back.
I almost forgot how amazing you made me feel.
Thank god it was only almost.

You have no idea how much I regret dumping you. How dumb of me.
I am sorry. I mean it. Please do accept my apology.
I feel sorry for myself as well because my act of not keeping you only made me feel lazy and fat.

I am feeling sorry no more.
I am going to welcome you back with open arms.

Finally my love, I am feeling it all again.

Oh you make me feel damn good. DAMN good, damn it.

My love, you rock, do you know?

I will DO YOU (LOL!) everyday, you have my words.

Sealed with a kiss,
Jaryn

(I think it was very obvious, but just in case, I was talking about exercising. Yeah.)
Whether or not we celebrate the Deepavali, let's enjoy this day the way it is supposed to be enjoyed; one filled with plenty of love.

Happy, Happy Deepavali to all!

:)

Match report

Match result: Everton 1 - 1 United

First half : Amazing football, some sleek passing, United totally dominated. United led 1-0. Scored by Darren Fletcher. His third goal of the season.

Second half : Whatever happened in the dressing room; Everton came back strong and so persistent. United lost the flow obviously and just could not find the net.

Overall : I thought some of the players looked a tired. The Celtic game taking its toll maybe? This is a case of two points dropped. NOT one point gained. This weekend is a good chance for United to narrow the gap as Liverpool faces Chelsea tomorrow, and points will be dropped there. But it just wasn't our day. Sigh.

But I love it when : When Rooney kissed United's badge during the match! Once a Blue, always a RED! Yay! (Right in the middle of Goodison Park ok!)

Does the dress really stick itself on my skin? Haha.
F*ck.

Damn it, my 2nd consecutive very short post.
It is 7am as I am typing this.

I am going for a morning jog in awhile.

Damn it, I feel good.

My doughnut FLEW!

It went amok.

First I though it was rather impressive.
Like a regal peahen showing off its majestic feathers, attempting to mousetrap the opposite sex.

But the truth it, it was more of a stunted-bird-committing-suicide scenario.

How trifling.

And it happened right in the middle of the main entrance of Gurney's.
Watched by the approximately 5.6 billion people who were around the area.

It was somewhat quite terrifying for me.

,

Football post.

If you are one of those who goes “Oh no, not another football post Jaryn!” when you visit my blog, due reasons which might include the fact you do not get why I can get excited watching 44 balls chasing after one ball, or that you are a Liverpool fan and just loathe reading all things United, or that you prefer golf to football, or you reckon watching anime is much better, or you think watching football is a waste of precious time studying for your finals, or that your boyfriend is cuter than Cristiano Ronaldo, or simply fact that football just does not make sense to you.

Whatever your reason is, I fully respect it. And I know that there is no way I can make you love football at my own will, just like you can never convince me to buy ice-cubes if I see u in North Pole.

But I am going to go on anyway to try to make you share my love towards the best club in the world, Manchester United. LOL.

This guide will focus on Manchester United (which if you have not already noticed, Manchester United is referred to by me as United), as less or even none about football in general.

So, I present you..

Jaryn’s A to Z Guide to Manchester United!

A for Alex : Sir Alex Ferguson is United's manager. He is so CUTE when he chews his chewing gum. You can read more about him here.

B for Busby Babes :
The Busby Babes were a group of players of United who won the Championship in 1955-56. The Busby Babes were notable not only for being young and talented, but for being developed by the club itself, rather than bought. Eight of the Busby Babes died in the Munich air disaster in 1958.

C for Carrington: The Carrington is the training ground of the United players. The security to the vicinity is very tight. Very few people are allowed inside.

D for Dimitar Berbatov : He is the new addition to the team, bought from Tottenham Hotspurs (whom by the way is now at the bottom of the Premier League table, damn). He plays the role of the striker, alongside Rooney and Tevez.

E for Eleven : Okay this one is quite obvious. Eleven players plays in a team.

F for Fuyoh : One of the many adjectives to describe United. This football club is a hell lot of a FUYOH team ok. They are so so lovable and so so kissable!!

G for Glazers : The Glazer family owns United. Like OWN United. They own United like how I own my handbags.

H for Hahaha : That is what I do when I am happy. And I am happy when United score goals. And that happens a lot.

I for Denis Irwin : He signed for United 1990, and left in 2002. He is a full-back. He established himself at the club after winning the Championship in the1992/93 season. He remains United’s second most-decorated player, with 13 winner’s medals.

J for Ji-Sung: Born in Seoul. Sir Alex had watched Ji-Sung more than 20 times before finally signing him for an undisclosed fee, believed to be £4million, in June 2005. He is a very hardworking player and that naturally makes him popular among the fans.

K for King Eric : He is Eric Cantona. He is the KING of United. Every United fan adore him for he is so amazing a player, so rich a character. In 2004 Cantona was quoted as saying, "I'm so proud the fans still sing my name, but I fear tomorrow they will stop. I fear it because I love it. And everything you love, you fear you will lose."

L for Let me watch : Okay so by “Let me watch”, I actually mean “I am watching, I own the TV”. Stay away from the remote control when I am watching a game.

M for Munich :
The Munich air disaster took place on the 6th of February 1958. The United team was on board. Eight United players and three United staffs died. It was a devastating and bleak day in the history of the Club. May you all rest in peace.

N for Newton Heath LYR: United was first formed in 1878, albeit under a different name - Newton Heath LYR!

O for Old Trafford : The Theatre of Dreams. Old Trafford’s capacity has reached in excess of 76,000, making it one of the most atmospheric and amazing stadiums of the world. It is the place where all dreams come true!

P for Paul: Paul Scholes is a rare talent. He is a player that makes you heart skips that little faster. He is a neat player, with the ability to convey great passes and of course, he score goals too. His contribution to the club is greatly known and oh boy,
I want to see him play till he turns 80!

Q for Quieroz: He used to be Sir Alex’s assistant coach, and an influential one too. He now coaches Portugal and is deeply missed!

R for Giggs: Living legend. Ryan Giggs is synonymous to United in many ways. He's got more than any other player in the club's history, 20 major honours to be exact. He has been with United since 1990 and today, he still is THAT superb.

S for Stretford End
: It is a stand of the west side of Old Trafford. Traditionally, the Stretford End houses United's most loyal and partisan supporters who prefer to stand and sing.

T for Trophies:We’ve got loads of them!! Visit our Trophy Room here.

U for United: It’s United! Do you know why I refer the club as United or MU and never as Man-Yoo? The origin of 'Man U' is a song to insult the late Duncan Edwards. The Leeds fans copied this with their own “Man U” versions to insult all of the lads who died at Munich. Saying “Man U” is an insult, particularly to the older supporters. A lot of rival fans got a good kicking for the 'Man U' insult.

V for Vidic: United’s defender. Vidic? You don’t want to mess with him. He can order Big Mac at Burger King, and gets it. He is this GREAT.

W for Wazza
: Wazza is Wayne Rooney’s nickname!

X for X’mas: X’mas time is a busy period in the English Premier League, where the fixtures are always packed! Good for me though. Parties and lots of football. Ahhh….

Y for YES:
YES, a zillion YES’es! I would love to go to Old Trafford!

Z for Zzzz:
Zzzz NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Football is so exciting. It’s so beautiful. Seriously, try to watch it. You don’t know what you are missing out on until you watch it. Until you love it!

So have you learnt your ABC's?

XOXO!

Goodnight!

I only slept two hours last night all thanks to European football.

(LOL, do not roll your eyes!)

But it was worth it of course.
Watching United play.
You know by heart it is such a great drug for me.
I just get very excited and very happy. And very very high.

United won 3-0 by the way :)

Walau bagaimanapun...

Two hours of sleep per day is definitely not enough for a person like me.
This is because I love sleeping. It is a joy to be able to sleep. And I am blessed with the talent to sleep very well and very long.

And I have this habit going on for years now.
Whenever I lost a few hours of sleep,
I make sure I take my revenge and sleep back the hours I lost.

You know what I mean right.

HAHAHA. Do you do that yourself?

With that said, I am now going to stop all my Internet activities, shut down my PC, head to my room, lay my fat-but-cute ass on my BED, and then, SLEEEEEEP!

Goodnight goodnight!

Btw Wallace and Chloe, you cannot read this yet,
but I miss you both too much. Sobs. You both sleep tight too like your Aunt Jaryn okie!
Ah goo goo! MUAH MUAH!

Tagged again!

I am tagged for the second time in three days!

This time by Jack Tan!

Well, one extra tagging means one less headache to think of what to blog about.

So yay, here I go.

Part One.

1. What is the relationship of you and him?
Jack and myself...well well, where do I start! We have a history which dated all the way back to one sunny Tuesday afternoon in Form Two... We attended the same tuition and it was love at first sight! He was there for me when I needed a shoulder to lean on. He was my first love. Unfortunately, we just could not work things out and decided to part ways two years later. It was heartbreaking. I was devastated. But nevertheless the right thing to do.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA...I AM SO KIDDING!!!

Jack and I are just friends. Platonic friends! Sometimes though, I am his Law tutor! And apparently he is one my best friend's boyfriend in Facebook! Wheee!!!

2. Your five impressions towards him.
Kind, down-to-earth, funny, funny and funny!

3. The most memorable thing he had done for you.
Tagging my blog! HAHAHA.

4. The most memorable thing he had said to you.
That the cam-whoring picture of myself you see in the top right hand corner of my blog looks really pretty. Like, really really really pretty... :)

5. If he become your lover, you will...
I will laugh until my hair drops!!!! When I am done with the laughing, I will make him buy me a diamond necklace and some trips to the Maldives.

6. If he become your enemy, you will...
I am nice remember? I do not do bad stuffs to people. Hahahaha. The most that I will ever do is perhaps, make him to starjumps. 50 times. Or maybe 500.

7. If he become your lover, he has to improve on...
Understanding my taste in Valentine's gift. I want diamonds and Jimmy Choo's.
Nothing less!

8. If he become your enemy, the reason is...
He betrays our friendship. But I believe this is something he will never do :)

9. The most desirable thing to do on him is?
Ask him to tell us some jokes!

10. The overall impression of him is?
Nice guy with great sense of humour and a good heart!

11. How do you think the people around you will feel about you?
That I am sweet, nice, funny, sexy, gorgeous, pretty, kind, caring, understanding.

13. On contrary, the character you hate of yourself is?

14. The most ideal person that you wanna be is?
I have not found that person yet. Hmmph!

Part Two.

1. Each player of this game starts off with 15 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself.

2. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 15 weird things/habits/little known facts as well as state the rules clearly.

3. At the end, you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names.

4. No tags back!

Over 10,000 birds a year die from smashing into windows.

Damn it this is totally pointless.

I've been tagged.

I lost my blog-is-being-tagged virginity! Finally.

Tick tock.

Today is 17 October!

Just in a blink of an eye, it's mid-October already.

Before you know it, November brush its charm over your face.

As you think you are enjoying the November breeze; a whole 30-days....
you will wake up finding yourself in Parkson doing last minute shopping, buying Christmas gifts!

And time decides to go up a gear faster, this time, in half a blink of an eye....

Pooof!!!

It is 2015 and I get an invitation to your first child's first birthday party!!

Awww that'll be very very sweet of you.

Hehehehehe!!

But until then, happy this-very-moment!

P.S: Aunty Barbara!! I love my niece just as much as I love my nephew.
No question about that :)

The boy I will never stop loving!

:)

:)

Wheeeeeeeeeee!

:)

:)

And no...it's not some Ashton's or some Ronaldo's!

:)

:)

It's my nephew!

I am going to see him this weekend!

I have not seen
my cutest and smartest most adorable most handsome most
bestest bestest
nephew in exactly four weeks.
FOUR WEEKS darn it!

It's 3 million freaking centuries in
Jaryn-misses-her-nephew-years.

Go figure.

Me time!

I love going out with friends and family.
I love to interact with people.
I am very friendly in fact.
I seek and I enjoy the company of others to the fullest.

I am just pretty darn gregarious!

But,

I also adore being on my own.

Going to the movies with my own company.
Being able to dine out by myself.
Go for swims with no one but my goggles and swimsuit.
Shoe-shopping with me, myself and I.

Or simply,

Reading a good book at my home’s balcony on Sunday mornings accompanied by Dad Dearest's beautiful green plants.
Cook on my own (even if it’s Maggi Mee).
Solve a puzzle on my own.
Or just listening to the radio in my room while staring at the ceiling.

Oh they are liberating, damn it. Life is such a gift!

Ok now for the ceramah part...

I believe that when you can enjoy YOUR OWN company, that is when you are able to enjoy being with others.
We need to be sure of ourselves and be confident of our own capabilities before others can be of us.

Besides, when we do things without others, we are forced to be independent and confident.
We have time to think of what we want; to reflect and to accept.

TO LOVE! :)

We need a bit of everything in life, I suppose. And the ability to balance them together.

We must not wait for people to complete us.
Why? Because I think we should be complete on our own!
Nobody else should complete us.
We have to be that assured of our own beliefs and that serene with our own mind.

People will say and do things (directly or indirectly) that make us question ourselves. It happens to me all the time. And even to the most self-assured stuck-up asshole on Earth. And it is perfectly normal.
But as long as we stay strong, do not lose our faiths, just get up and regain the composure even at the hardest times.

Make our lives better than ever. We owe ourselves that.

Just start believing!

:)

Now will you please excuse me, I have to go the toilet.

ALONE of course!

The Tasmanian hottie

I am thinking of loklok now and I want to go attack the stall with you, Paulynn!!!

Just leave some "harm" for the other customers alright! Hehe.

I miss you, Tassie's very own beautiful girl, inside out.
You deserve all the happiness in the world.

Good luck in your exams in advance.
You will do great, you always do.

Charky loves Boleng so much, and vice versa.
Their love story is epic! LOL.

XOXO!

(Damn I love to hate doing this XOXO thingy)

Stupidity pays its price

If only I was not so freaking dumb three years ago....

If only...

Bu it is too late now. A little too late.
There are no second chances sometimes...

Or are there?

camwhore coasters!

In case you have not already noticed because you were hibernating for the last 5 years,
us girls (yes even 21-year-olds) love to camwhore, and we are not ashamed of it.

So why do we adore taking our own pictures?

The reason is simple, because we are pretty and cute and hot.
And we want to capture our beauty!
DUH.

I was half-kidding.

So, we camwhore in bedrooms...

In the bathroom, with the reflections of mirrors...

In boutiques and shopping complexes...
And many other places, well any other places actually!

But I recently acquired a new skill.
I brought cam-whoring to a whole new level.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

I camwhore while I ride rollercoasters!!

Mind you, I take the shots during the scary times ok.
It's dangerously awesome.

I am awesome.
HAHAHA.

And no, I did not berani membuta-tuli!
I was sure I would NOT drop a sweat.

From the amount of times I went on those rides over the past few years, I simply just was not afraid of the rides anymore!

Do not try this at home!

betui-betui suka

I just have to.
I cannot resist it.
The urge.
It's too strong.

The feeling?
It's way too good.
Damn best ok.

When I see them.
I just want to own them all.

ALL.

ALL ALSO I WANT, CAN?

And yes, I am talking about shoes of course.

Freshly baked!

You know what makes the best dessert?

Chocolate brownies!!

Agree? Agree?

:)

You heat them up until they are perfectly soft and hot,
and then pour some chocolate syrup on top,
just nice to add some extra flavour to them,
but not too much that they'll taste over-the-top rich.

Serve before I steal them away!

Yes, they add on thousands of pounds,
but secretly I know that deep down,
you and I do not give a damn.

Do re Do re Do re

What do I blog about, when I have absolutely no idea what too blog about.

Not that my life is a stalemate.
Mind you, but my life rocks big time.

Not that I do not have anything running through my mind now.
Mind you, there are so many things on my mind,
you'll probably fart when I say you do!

Let me see...what can I blog about.

Uhhhhhhhh...

Are you up for an in-depth discussion on the USA's $700 billion bail-out issue?

Or do you want to talk about Kim Kardashian for being voted out of this week's Dancing With The Stars?

How about the Melamine controversy in China? Too old a crisis?

Or how the f*ck did Manchester City lose the freaking two goal lead to Liverpool on Sunday?

Damn.
WTH.
I am sorry.

My fingers cannot keep up with my brain.

There is no way I can blog smart when these two are not efficiently co-ordinating.
Or co-ordinating efficiently. Whatever.

I better go to bed.

The hottie is in London!

The ever-so-hot Shena!

How is London, darling?!

Any sexy Englishman for me yet? ;)

We already miss all the boobhugs we had with you!

:(

You'll always be part of us.
Friends forever!

P.S: Marcia and I love you love you love you, so so so much!!!!
We will send you the list of stuffs we want you to buy for us from London.
And guess what, we had to stop by Popular to get more papers
because our list is just too long! HAHAH!

Dr Footie

Sorry.
I went AWOL yesterday. Was sick.
Vommited.
Laosai-ed.

Food poisoning I suppose.
I did not see the doctor.
Just slept the entire day.

Yesterday, I had to skip the Red Box session with my SGGS friends.
Damn.

And I was still too weak to go for dimsum this morning with another group of SGGS friends.
Another damn.

I do feel better now.
Thank goodness.

But my head still feels a little light.
Like, it's floating buoyantly, skipping from one cloud to another, lol.

My legs are stubbornly wobbly just yet.
But they'll come back strong.
And before you know it, I will be back partying around town! Whoohooo!

It's weekend again, and United will be playing against Blackburn.

Rooney and Scholes will be out.
Berbatov will be striking it up with Tevez.
As usual, I can't wait.

If there is any medication that can cure my indisposition, it's definitely seeing United players play astoundingly phenomenal football.
Or the anticipation of it.
:)

Whole-heartedly;
I want to play with my nephew, and just cuddle him tight.

I want to carry my niece, and see her smiling.

Honestly;
I want to watch Mama Mia, and dance in the cinema.

I want to kena Jackpot.

I want to catch the shit-all-the-cute-fat-so-geram-ok-fish I saw in Genting,
and make Fish n Chips.

:)

Seriously?
I want to constantly being inspired.

And last but of course not least,

I want to inspire.

I am whipped.

I am given a new nickname by Tommy Bon Jovi.

It's................

Whipped Cream!!

I am Whipped Cream!

Whipped Cream you know.

Ooh aah I love it.

LOL.

An impressive 9-hour

Just how many steps I had to take, and how many drops of sweat it took, how many muscles I stretched in one hour to get RM 4.50!

That is like, USD 1.30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL.

I am not complaining though, work is fun and I learn new stuffs, make new friends and of course, freaking learn the value of the freaking money!

Not that I have not understood how hard is it to make money, I just re-learned it again!

It is good anyway that we are constantly being reminded of the value of money.
It is always always a blessing!

:)

So, how did my Raya Eve go?

Work today was tiring as usual, but fun as usual too.

So glad Damien and Tommy met up with me when my shift ended.
It rocks ohhhhhh-biggggg-time when friends come visit you at work.

For dinner, Damien wanted TGIF, but Tommy and I veto his plan! HAHAHA.
We decided on a relatively cheaper Nando's instead.
And then we watched Eagle Eye starring damn-why-are-there-so-many-hot-guys-Shia LaBeouf.

Heh.

Good dinner, good movie, good laughs!
Not a bad day, not at all!
Thanks guys! MUAH.

Btw, I read somewhere that elephant spends 23 hours in a day....EATING!
I am not the only one then! :D
