Defoe's breathtaking bicycle-kick goal inside the very first minute of the game meant it was going to be a very typical Spurs-United game.

United did not go into a panic mode. Instead we remained calm.

Overall a pleasing performance, we played much better than we did against Arsenal, and when Giggsy scored, you could just feel it coming. All of it.

It was a pity Scholed got red-carded as I thought his second tackle was not necessary. But the bright side is that even with one man less, we could play well as to still win.
