Match report

Chelsea 1 - 1 United
Park Ji-Sung put United ahead with his goal until Kalou equalised with a set-piece.

Here is what I think.

1)Berbatov could have done so so much better, but he is new to the team. He needs time. I just can't help to wonder just how much time, though.

2)So was rooney, I felt he was just out of his game. Lost some possesions. Could not control the ball well. He worked his ass off as usual, but it just wasn't his day.

3) Ronaldo obviously just recovered and did not played as well as he did in the Villarreal game.

4) Captain Neville was okay considering he just got back from the year-long injury. Glad to see him back. You know, he brings so much influence to the team.
But he was kind of slow as compared to Wes Brown.

5) Ferdinand, Evra and Evans were great. Kudos to Evans for not showing any jitters in such a big match like this.

6) Hargreaves did not quite play his best too, in my opinion.

7) And Tevez Tevez, where art thou!! Why didn't you play?
You would have provided us the X-factor that we lacked in front.

We played well and I thought to get 3 points would have been very very possible until...
United lost a bit of the flow in the middle of the game!

And Scholes had to be substituted because he might be given a second yellow card??
I thought he was so vital to our midfield flow and bringing him out was a loss.
When Ronaldo came in, I hoped he would give the jest like he did on Wednesday night. But he did not quite do that this time.

Chelsea's goal was..ARGH!
Could have been prevented if not for Rooney's foul.
(Not that I'm blaming Rooney)

I guess it all depends on perspective.

One point gained in Stamford Bridge is not something to be complained of.
And besides, there are signs of improvements here and there.
But we needed the 3 points quite badly, and very very sadly,
we got just one.

With that said, now for the corny part.
The journey in the premiership a long one, full of obstacles like these.
But we stay strong, we always do!!!!

To quote the cliche:

The league is a marathon - not a sprint
