There were less drama this year. Just a lot of thinking.
Just plain;
I did it. Wow. Now breathe. And breathe again. Go buy yourself a new pair of shoes. Breathe. A new lipgloss too. Followed by a good meal. Breathe. Then dance your ass away at SS or something.
Breathe. Breathe.
When the partying is over, and your feet whispers and tells you,
"Hey Miss Owner, I am aching all over. You might be high on the Guiness so you don't feel it? But I feel like chopping myself off your wasted body."
(Hypothetically speaking of course, since I am a proud teetotaler.)
So okay. You sit down. In your bedroom. Maybe by the beach.
What next? Breathe. Breathe? What next. What. Next?
Can I just stay in the here? In the now?
In this Yay-I-Just-Graduated-Let's-Go-Shopping world?
And then when tomorrow comes, it's another Yay-I-Just-Graduated-Let's-Go-Shopping!
And the day after tomorrow?
You bet, another Yay-I-Just-Graduated-Let's-Go-Shopping!
I can go on and on and on and on.
But no.
The world is out there. For you. And for me. To conquer.
Intimidating is the word. But FIGHT is a bigger word.
You've got to try. I've got to try, no?
Get over the wonderings. You might as well sit and home and watch your ceiling for 10 straight hours and then feel like crap for the next 10 hours.
And then you would have lost almost a day. Gone. Just like that.
Have you watched Up?
Yeah I want to be like Carl.
You know? Do anything anytime. All consequences be damned. Be damned.
I want to tie balloons to my house and fly to South America.
(Of course with a grown-up Russell who hopefully would have dropped some pounds, lol)
Breathe. I did it. A law graduate. I've worked this hard and come this far.
But so what? Nothing has changed. I have not changed. I never want to anyway.
So. Breathe. Are you breathing? Because I am.
