Ok Mark Hughes, you want an explanation about the "too little too long" extra time of the derby?
First and foremost, I'd like to say that FIFA's rule book says that a referee has the discretion to allow more but it can never be less.
But still, here goes;
The added time was 4 minutes.
Bellamy's celebration took 56 seconds.
Carrick's substituion took 30 seconds.
So;
90 minutes + 4 minutes + 56 seconds + 30 seconds = 95 minute 26 seconds
And Owen's goal was scored in the 95th minute and 27th second.
It's simple mathematics here, no?
Besides, it could have been City who scored, no?
:)
You should just stop whining, no?
